Job summary

Vinarchy, a global wine company, seeks a newly accounting qualified professional to support UK group reporting, statutory reporting, and treasury services. The role includes month-end close, audit coordination, and ensuring accurate UK accounts.

Based in Bristol, you will work with the Finance team to improve controls, prepare cash flow commentary, and assist with budgeting. Strong Excel, attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of accounting preparation requirements.
• Experience with UK group statutory reporting and month-end close.
• Proactive in improving controls and processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist in UK Group annual statutory accounts and UK entities consolidation.
• Support audit timetable and respond to audit queries.
• Prepare cash flow reporting and budgeting/forecasting with commentary.
• Perform month end close and maintain general ledger for UK entities.
• Ensure intercompany balances reconcile and assist with ad hoc analyses.
• Document procedures and controls; contribute to continuous improvement.
• Assist with banking and treasury activities.
