Job summary

Marks & Spencer is seeking a Senior Finance Analyst to join the Supply Chain Transformation Finance team. You will partner with senior stakeholders across Logistics, Transformation and Finance to evaluate major investment opportunities, build compelling business cases and ensure transformative projects deliver value.

Hybrid role with three days in the office to collaborate on capital investments, cost/schedule challenges and performance tracking.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with strong commercial acumen.
• Experience building robust financial models and investment cases.
• Ability to challenge costs, benefits and timelines using data-driven analysis.

Responsibilities

• Support financial evaluation of major supply chain investments (capacity, automation, technology).
• Build and maintain financial models, assess capex, costs, cash flow, benefits and performance.
• Deliver investment appraisal analyses (NPV, IRR, payback, sensitivity).
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure robust, evidence-based investment cases.
• Track benefits delivery and drive continuous improvement to realise value.
