Job summary

Marks & Spencer plc is seeking a Senior Finance Analyst to partner with warehouse operations during a major supply chain transformation, including mobilisation, go-live and ongoing optimisation. You will shape the financial performance of our UK-based automated distribution centre.

You will work closely with site leadership to drive performance, improve controls and deliver budgeting, forecasting and reporting, turning data into actionable insight for business decisions.

Qualifications

• Professional accounting qualification required.
• Strong business partnering and stakeholder management experience.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling.
• Experience supporting transformation or systems implementation.

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior operational stakeholders to provide financial insight and drive accountability across performance and cost.
• Support mobilisation and launch of the Lichfield distribution centre with finance processes and controls.
• Own budgeting, forecasting and reporting, driving automation of finance outputs.
• Analyse warehouse economics linking volumes, labour, automation, inventory to financial outcomes.
• Support peak planning and scenario modelling for capacity and operational decisions.
