Job summary

Greencore is hiring for a finance-focused role that delivers robust analysis to support stakeholders and drive action. You will lead budgeting and forecast processes, optimise cost and margin insights, and partner with multiple sites to improve performance.

The role requires ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification or progress toward it, with manufacturing/logistics finance experience and excellent Excel. Strong communication across levels is essential in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or currently studying towards a qualification.
• Finance experience in manufacturing, logistics or similar.
• Excellent Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills able to communicate to all levels of the business.
• Proactive, organised and able to meet deadlines and deliver results.

Responsibilities

• Ensure financial reporting including weekly flash, weekly P&L, and month end close are completed accurately and on time.
• Develop and communicate KPIs to monitor cost and margin drivers.
• Ensure input into costings is accurate and timely.
• Build cross-functional relationships with key stakeholders.
• Support budget and quarterly forecasts, understanding key drivers for strategic decisions.
• Provide information, interpretation and insight to inform delivery of performance.
• Review business practices to enhance cost efficiency and improvement.
• Prepare and monitor monthly reports and resolve queries timely.
• Provide ad hoc analysis to aid interpretation and decision making.
