Job DescriptionWhat will you be doing?We're seeking a talented individual to join our Management Accounting team who will work in the Revenue reporting team in Liverpool, responsible for Revenue reporting and supporting the calculation and reporting of AuM.
As Senior Finance Analyst, your responsibilities will include among others- Extracting revenue data from source systems to collate/review and post revenue and accruals.
- Involved in collating, reporting, and resolving any issues with the reporting of Assets under Management (AUM) by the Group.
- Preparation of respective monthly balance sheets reconciliation and reconciliation of revenue postings to cash received with timely follow up on anomalies and updating reconciliations for control frameworks and files provided to auditors.
- Contributing to the collation of Revenue and AUM data for regulatory returns.
- Formatting large data sets into professional excel reports and providing commentary.
- Building knowledge of the operational systems used to collect/record fees and the business services.
QualificationsSkills and ExperienceTo be successful in this role, you should- Qualified Accountant - ACCA/CIMA
- Experience gained working in a management accounts team essential
- Demonstrable interest in financial services industry
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages: Minimum basic Word, advanced Excel & intermediate PowerPoint
- Strong Interpersonal skills are essential, with the ability to communicate well both written and verbally to senior audiences and an ability to work well in a team and comfortable to work individually.
- Demonstrate an ability to understand and summarise complex information in a professional and concise manner, high levels of accuracy and attention to detail with an ability to solve problems quickly.
Desired- Experience within a financial services institution is advantageous but not essential.
