Job Description:

What will you be doing?

We’re seeking a talented individual to join our Management Accounting team in Liverpool, responsible for Revenue reporting and supporting the calculation and reporting of AuM.

Responsibilities include:

• Extracting revenue data from source systems to collate, review, and post revenue and accruals.
• Collating, reporting, and resolving issues with Assets under Management (AUM) reporting.
• Preparing monthly balance sheet reconciliations and revenue postings, following up on anomalies, and updating reconciliations for audits.
• Contributing to regulatory reports with Revenue and AUM data.
• Formatting large data sets into professional Excel reports with commentary.
• Understanding operational systems used for fee collection and business services.

Qualifications and Skills:

Essential:

• Qualified Accountant - ACCA/CIMA
• Experience in a management accounts team
• Interest in financial services industry
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel (advanced), PowerPoint (intermediate)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and in a team, with high accuracy and problem-solving skills

Desirable:

• Experience in a financial services institution (advantageous but not essential)
