Agora Talent is partnering with an expanding international retail group in the search for a Senior Finance Analyst. Our client have been growing across the UK, having opening three new sites last year alone.

Having doubled in revenue in the last three years to circa £175m, they remain ambitious and plan to continue to expand their market share and further increase revenue.

Reporting to the Commercial Finance Manager and working alongside two Junior Analysts, you will be able to take increasing ownership of core elements of FP&A and commercial finance, with the longer-term plan being for you to have a direct report in the future.

Responsibilities:

• Leading with budgeting and forecasting
• Acting as a key business partner across multiple functions
• Producing analysis on business performance and retail KPIs
• Recommending measures to drive growth and improve processes
• Preparing reports and presentations for finance and non-finance stakeholders
• Translating financial information so non-finance stakeholders can understand
• Analysing sales, margin, stock, pricing, promotions, the P&L, etc
• Assisting with financial modelling
• Contributing to month-end close - e.g. accruals, variance analysis
• 3 years+ experience in FP&A/commercial finance
• Exposure to retail and consumer industries
• Actively studying towards CIMA or ACCA
• Capable of acting autonomously with budgeting and forecasting
• Experience with retail KPIs
• Highly proficient in Excel
• Strong commercial acumen
• Analytical mindset
• SAP experience
• BI experience

Location: Central London (3 days in office)
