Senior Finance Analyst, ATS Surface Transportation

Support financial operating planning, demonstrating financial acumen and the ability to adapt quickly to various business needs.
Analyze ambiguous and incomplete datasets to identify issues and uncover cost-saving opportunities.
Work independently to deliver results through strategic and tactical high-impact projects that enhance customer satisfaction and improve cost and performance management within ATS.
Discover and present opportunities for efficiency and savings in a fast-paced environment.
Define, as part of the multi-functional team, the optimal strategy for ATS third-party carrier cost management to support the long-term ATS vision.
Build and maintain business partner relationships, leveraging data and influence.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics or business, or a Bachelor's degree and experience in quantitative role (engineering, process re-engineering, quality assurance)
- Six Sigma Black Belt
- Experience in tax, finance or a related analytical field
- Experience in accounts receivable or account payable
- Experience applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses
- Experience in creating process improvements with automation and analysis
- Experience in identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes
- Experience with advanced use of SQL for data mining and business intelligence
- Experience as a lean sensei, or experience working as a Quality Assurance Engineer

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- MBA, or CPA
- Knowledge of Tableau
- Experience participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
