Job summary

Senior Finance Analyst needed in Wembley

This is a temporary role and the rate is £35.36ph PAYE

The successful candidate will apply advanced analytical capability to drive measurable improvements in income collection and debt recovery across key portfolios. They will interrogate large, complex datasets to identify trends, risks and performance gaps, producing clear, insight‑led recommendations that support targeted interventions across Council Tax, Adult Social Care debt, Housing Benefit Overpayments and Sundry Debt.

They will translate complex information into accessible, actionable intelligence for senior stakeholders, demonstrating strong commercial awareness and the ability to influence decision‑making. They will work confidently with systems such as NEC, Mosaic, Abacus and Oracle Financials to quickly understand data structures, assess recovery activity and highlight opportunities to strengthen performance. Through a combination of robust analysis, effective communication and proactive stakeholder engagement, they will play a pivotal role in improving income, reducing outstanding debt and supporting the delivery of the Council’s wider financial priorities.
