Mastercard is seeking a Senior Finance Analyst in London, responsible for managing rebates and incentives within the UK&I and Nordics & Baltics regions. Senior Finance Analyst

The jobholder will be part of the UK&I Nordics & Baltics Controller’s group within Mastercard Europe’s Finance division. The primary responsibilities include Rebates & Incentives, Pricing & Billing Operations for the UK, Ireland, Nordics, and Baltics within Europe. The position reports to the Director of Controlling UK&I Nordics & Baltics and is based in London.
The role involves ensuring the accurate and timely accounting treatment of customer business agreements concerning revenue recognition and contra-revenue (rebates and incentives), in partnership with the GBSC (Shared Services centre in India), ensuring compliance with Mastercard policies, internal controls, and US GAAP.
The position supports the business in generating customer business agreements and advises account teams accordingly. It is a key contributor to both financial and commercial processes, working closely with departments such as FP&A, Business Development Finance, Legal, GBSC, Account Managers, and Regional Finance.
The jobholder will review R&I reporting monthly, provide commentary to stakeholders (including the Corporate Controllers Group in NY quarterly), and support the delivery of performance metrics reports. Additionally, they will support Mastercard’s Internal Control and Sox Compliance processes across the divisions, assisting in rolling out revised internal control frameworks.
