Job summary

whynow, a London-based entertainment company, is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Finance Analyst to join its finance team. You will support financial planning, reporting, and strategic insight to help leadership make informed decisions.

In this role you will prepare monthly and quarterly statements, assist budgeting and forecasting, build financial models, and partner with cross-functional teams to drive performance while ensuring compliance with UK GAAP and IFRS.

Qualifications

• Part qualified or actively working towards ACA / ACCA / CIMA.
• 3-5 years of experience in FP&A or a similar role.
• Strong Excel skills and financial modeling experience.
• Experience with accounting systems (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks).
• Familiarity with BI tools such as Tableau and Looker.
• Solid understanding of UK GAAP, FRS 102, IFRS.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or a similar role
• Strong proficiency in Excel and financial modeling; experience with accounting systems (e.g., Xero, Quickbooks) a plus
• Familiarity with BI tools such as Tableau, Looker a plus
• Solid understanding of relevant financial reporting standards (UK GAAP, FRS 102, IFRS)
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
