Job summary

CoreTech Security Services is seeking a Senior Finance Administrator to own and shape our finance function within the Operations team. You’ll handle month-end prep, supplier payments, and executive reporting, while maintaining accuracy and compliance. The role is office-based in Cheltenham with flexible hours around commitments.

The ideal candidate has end-to-end bookkeeping expertise, UK tax knowledge, and strong Excel skills. AAT/CIMA/ACCA or equivalent experience is expected.

Qualifications

• End-to-end bookkeeping, AP/AR, payroll reconciliation, budgeting and reporting.
• AAT/CIMA/ACCA or equivalent accounting experience.
• Strong numerical accuracy and Excel proficiency.
• Knowledge of UK tax and compliance incl VAT and reporting.
• Ability to translate financial data into plain-English.
• Proactive, autonomous, confidential handling of financial data.
• Eligible for UK Security Clearance up to SC level.

Responsibilities

• Prepare month-end tasks and close processes.
• Process supplier payments and manage payables.
• Prepare reports for the Executive team.
• Maintain accurate ledgers and journals.
• Ensure compliance and robust financial controls.
