Metis Search is partnering with a Bulge-Bracket Investment bank to recruit for its FIG team in London. The role offers exposure to high-profile transactions and direct senior interaction within a lean, entrepreneurial environment.

You will lead or support sell-side and buy-side M&A processes, build robust financial models, and prepare materials for clients from day one. The ideal candidate has 2.5–7 years of FIG M&A experience, strong modelling skills, and the ability to drive workstreams

Qualifications

• Approximately 2.5–7 years experience in M&A within FIG investment banking.
• Exposure across Banks, Asset and Wealth Management or Insurance.
• Strong technical foundation in financial modelling and valuation.
• Demonstrated transaction experience with the ability to run workstreams independently.
• Commercially minded, resourceful and comfortable in small teams.
• Clear and confident communicator with strong presentation skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead or support the execution of sell-side and buy-side M&A transactions within the FIG space.
• Produce financial models and valuations, including DDM, LBO, and comparables.
• Prepare high-quality client presentations, information memoranda, and marketing materials.
• Develop relationships with management teams, advisers, and investors to support origination efforts.
• Manage or conduct financial and commercial due diligence with external advisers to assess risks and value drivers.
• Work on strategic advisory and transaction execution and manage workstreams.
