Job summary

Shield AI in London, United Kingdom, is seeking a Staff Field Solutions Engineer (EURAF) to lead regional engagements for Hivemind, Shield AI's autonomy solution for unmanned systems.

You will translate mission needs into credible, technically feasible concepts, support demonstrations, RFIs/RFPs, and technical narratives for defense and security customers across EURAF, working closely with BD, Product, and Engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years in solutions engineering, field applications, or related roles.
• Strong understanding of autonomy, AI-enabled systems, and unmanned tech.
• Experience with demos, technical briefings, RFIs/RFPs, and stakeholder workshops.
• Experience with international defense, security, aerospace, government customers.
• Ability to translate mission needs into feasible solution concepts and product feedback.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for technical and leadership audiences.
• Willingness to travel internationally and work from London, UK.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a customer-facing technical expert for Hivemind across EURAF.
• Support customer discovery, technical briefings, demonstrations, and capture activities.
• Translate customer missions into credible Hivemind solution concepts.
• Collaborate with BD, Product, Engineering to respond to RFIs/RFPs and produce materials.
• Explain capabilities, roadmap timing, and integration requirements to diverse audiences.
• Develop technical sales assets: briefs, scripts, templates, white papers.
• Work with Product, Engineering, and Program teams to reflect customer needs and risks.
• Assist customers in evaluating autonomy for mission planning and modernization.
• Maintain accurate, current technical content and reflect roadmap plans.
• Travel internationally as needed and engage in EURAF regional strategies.
