Job summary

Orbem is seeking a Senior Field Service Engineer to lead end-to-end issue resolution on MRI-related systems, at customer sites and labs. You will mentor junior engineers, guide installation efforts, and drive maintenance playbooks. Travel up to 70% across the EU is required, with relocation support to Germany.

Fluent English and Italian are essential; German/Spanish skills are a plus. You’ll work in a dynamic scale-up with a focus on reliability and customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience diagnosing complex electrical, mechanical, or automation problems in field-service.
• Ability to be senior/primary troubleshooter on a team.
• Experience mentoring junior technicians.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end diagnosis and resolution of complex service incidents at customer sites and labs.
• Act as primary escalation point for difficult repairs.
• Tailor maintenance approaches to local site conditions and document deviations.
