Job summary

Focus Resourcing Limited is seeking a Lead MRI Field Service Engineer to provide senior technical leadership, installation, maintenance and fault-finding on MRI equipment. You will mentor engineers, support training and contribute to capability development across the team.

The role is home-based with nationwide UK travel and potential international travel, offering a senior level path in diagnostic imaging field service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years' experience in a Diagnostic Imaging Field Service role.
• Strong hands-on experience servicing, maintaining and troubleshooting diagnostic imaging equipment.
• Strong MRI fault-finding capability and diagnostic skills.
• Experience mentoring or guiding other engineers.
• HNC/HND or equivalent Engineering qualification.
• Knowledge of PACS, DICOM and basic networking.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the UK.

Responsibilities

• Carry out installation, preventative maintenance, repairs and upgrades on MRI/diagnostic imaging equipment.
• Troubleshoot complex technical faults and act as first point of escalation.
• Mentor and provide technical support to Field Service Engineers and Trainees.
• Support technical training and knowledge sharing across the team.
• Provide technical input into bids, tenders and capability development.
• Support multiple OEM platforms and cross-training when required.
