Job summary

TRS Consulting is seeking a Project Engineer / Senior Field Service Engineer in the United Kingdom. You will install and commission hardware, software and electrical components at customer sites, and prepare design documentation to meet customer requirements.

The role involves coordinating with customers and sub-contractors, configuring application software on Windows PCs, and frequent travel with about one overnight stay per week. DBS check and full UK driving licence required.

Qualifications

• Experience in field service / commissioning / project engineer roles.
• Ex-forces engineers welcome.
• Full UK driving licence and DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Installation and commissioning of hardware, software and electrical components at customer sites.
• Development of design documentation (including drawings) in accordance with customer requirements.
• Configuration of application software, Windows operating system and associated PC hardware.
• Co-ordinating with customers and sub-contractors to schedule project activities.
