Job summary

The St Andrews Centre for Plastic Surgery invites Senior Fellows to join six-month clinical fellowships, attached to Consultant Plastic Surgeons for specialised training across microsurgery, skin cancer and hand/trauma care. Trainees from home and abroad may apply, with expectation to integrate into Skin Cancer, Hand and Trauma teams and contribute to research and publications.

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent; MRCS or equivalent.
• Full GMC Registration with licence to practice.
• FRCS (Plast) or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Support the plastic surgical service at the St Andrews Centre and satellite hospitals.
• Attend the out-patient departments and the operating theatres as required by the consultants.
• deputise for the consultants in their absence and handle the administrative matters associated with the above.
