Job summary

Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust invites applications for a Post-CCT Fellow in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery. Six-month fellowships can be tailored to individual training needs, with start dates from February 2027 by mutual agreement.

The post is full-time and based at LGI, offering exposure across upper limb, head and neck, breast, skin and limb reconstructions. The fellow should hold FRCS(Plast) or equivalent and be an experienced trainee or an accredited Plastic Surgeon eligible for a UK

Qualifications

• FRCS(Plast) or equivalent required.
• Advanced training in plastic surgery beyond basic training.
• Experience as trainee in Plastic Surgery or as a Plastic Surgeon eligible for Consultant post.

Responsibilities

• Attend and contribute to theatre lists and outpatient clinics.
• Develop subspecialty training needs with supervising consultant.
• Participate in teaching programme and departmental audit meetings.
• Support the unit's microvascular and complex reconstruction services.
