First Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced FEA Structural Engineer to support major offshore floating wind projects at FEED stage. The role involves developing structural design solutions and producing high-quality documentation in a technically strong team.

You will perform FE analysis, create calculations to industry standards, and review drawings while ensuring QHSE compliance and collaboration across the project team. Hybrid working with an onboarding period is offered.

Qualificações

• 8–10 years’ offshore structural engineering experience.
• Strong background in floating wind and offshore structures.
• Degree in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Naval Engineering, or similar.
• Advanced experience in Finite Element Analysis, particularly SESAM.
• Solid understanding of floating wind structures and foundation design practices.

Responsabilidades

• Perform structural analysis using FEA software (SESAM, ABAQUS, ANSYS, SACS).
• Produce detailed design calculations per industry standards (DNV, API, AISC, Eurocodes, Norsok).
• Review and approve structural steel drawings per design requirements.
• Prepare design reports and maintain project records per procedures.
• Carry out strength and fatigue assessments for floating substructures.
• Ensure compliance with QHSE policies.
