Job summary

Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust invites a Consultant Family and Systemic Psychotherapist to provide clinical leadership and strategic direction for family therapy services across Berkshire. The role combines clinical practice with supervision, training and governance support.

The post requires NHS mental health experience, work with children/young people, and the ability to travel between sites. Hybrid working is possible, with agreed in-office presence.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of family and systemic psychotherapy in NHS settings.
• Post-qualification experience with children and young people is essential.
• Proven clinical and professional leadership with governance experience.
• Ability to travel between sites in Berkshire and provide supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical, professional and strategic leadership for family therapy and systemic services across Berkshire.
• Offer supervision, consultation and training to teams as required.
• Lead the development and governance of systemic and family therapy provision.
• Collaborate with colleagues across services and external agencies to improve care pathways.
• Work clinically in your specialist area (preferably CAMHS) and contribute to workforce development.
