Job summary

JMC Legal Recruitment represents an ambitious Sussex practice seeking a Senior Family Solicitor for a genuine partnership pathway in Brighton.

The Opportunity

You’ll manage a sophisticated family law caseload:

• Divorce and separation for high-net-worth individuals
• Complex financial remedy proceedings with substantial assets
• High-net-worth and complex asset cases
• Children matters and family law disputes
• Pre- and post-nuptial agreements

You’ll advise clients during genuinely challenging periods, build lasting relationships, and contribute to the department’s growth. The pathway to Partnership is clear and realistic.

About You

• Senior Family Solicitor, 5+ PQE, likely at Associate or Senior Associate level, or an existing Family Partner
• Able to manage matters independently with genuine judgment
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills
• Commercially aware and interested in business development
• Collaborative and proactive approach
• Resolution membership and/or Collaborative Law training (advantageous)
