Job summary

Lewisham Council in London is seeking a senior family practitioner to join the Children with complex needs and disabilities, Family Help Team. You will case hold, work within the Child in Need framework and collaborate with qualified social workers to deliver targeted support for children with disabilities and their families.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children and families in a statutory setting.
• Ability to case hold and work within the Child in Need framework.
• Ability to produce high-quality case reports and correspondence for various readers.

Responsibilities

• Case hold and support families under the Child in Need framework.
• Work with children with disabilities and their families to provide targeted interventions.
• Produce clear, concise case reports for multiple agencies.
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with schools, health services and voluntary partners.
