Job summary

South Gloucestershire Council is recruiting a Senior Family Support Worker within the Family Help Community Team. You will lead as a Family Help Lead Practitioner, delivering evidence-based, whole-family interventions to children, parents and wider family members to help families achieve sustainable change.

You will case-hold Targeted Early Help and Child in Need work, coordinate multi-agency plans and provide coaching to Family Support Workers, with a DBS check required and travel across the

Qualifications

• Significant experience delivering evidence-based interventions with children, young people and families.
• Ability to develop and implement Family Help support plans.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Case-hold Targeted Early Help and Child in Need work from assessment to closure.
• Provide continuity when needs escalate to Child in Need as Family Help Lead Practitioner.
• Coach and supervise Family Support Workers; document case records accurately.
• Coordinate Family Network Meetings and Team Around the Child activities.
• Loster to oversee multi-agency plans and ensure timely outcomes.
