Job summary

The Royal Household is seeking a Senior Facilities Manager for the Windsor Estate to ensure efficient operation of Windsor Castle, the Royal Mews, and related buildings. You will oversee Hard and Soft FM services, lead a diverse team, and manage the budget to sustain high standards in a historic environment.

Qualifications

• Senior facilities management professional with experience leading in-house and outsourced teams.
• Experience managing hard and soft FM across historic/listed buildings and regulatory compliance.
• Budget management (£2.5m) and supplier relationship management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee both Hard and Soft Facilities Management services across Windsor Estate.
• Lead a team of Facilities Managers, Maintenance Technicians, and Electricians.
• Manage planned and reactive maintenance and oversee preparation for key events.
• Ensure health and safety regulations are met across all sites.
• Oversee service contracts and monitor contract performance.
