Job summary

Bimplus is seeking a Senior Façade Design Engineer to lead technical design and coordination of curtain walling, cladding and building envelope systems on prestigious UK developments. You will mentor junior staff and collaborate closely with architects, structural engineers and clients to deliver projects on time and to high quality standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in civil/structural/mechanical engineering or related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of curtain walling, cladding, glazing and building envelope systems.
• Experience producing design documentation and calculations.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and coordination of façade systems from concept to completion.
• Produce detailed design calculations, reports and fabrication drawings.
• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers and contractors.
• Attend client and design team meetings and mentor junior staff.
• Support value engineering and manage multiple projects to schedule.
