Job summary

Guildmore Group is seeking a Senior Estimator to lead forecasting and tender submissions for residential high-rise façade and cladding projects in London. You will collaborate with Commercial, Design and Operations teams to ensure accurate, competitive bids and successful handovers.

The role requires strong estimating experience in façades/remedials, proficiency with Bluebeam, and the ability to interpret complex drawings and specs while managing multiple tenders to strict deadlines.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of estimating experience within construction.
• Façade and cladding or remedial works experience.
• Strong estimating and commercial awareness.
• Proficient with Bluebeam for take-off.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlines simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Review bid documents and amendments.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates from tenders and measured quantities.
• Analyse drawings, specifications, BOQ and other docs to estimate costs.
• Source, negotiate and obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Attend mid-tender and post-tender meetings with clients and subcontractors.
• Carry out risk analysis based on information provided or omitted by the client.
• Prepare tender forms, letters, qualifications and Contract Sum Analyses.
• Prepare handover documentation and attend handover meetings.
