Balfour Beatty plc is seeking a Senior Fabrication Engineer to lead fabrication activities for major structural steel and mechanical packages on Sizewell C’s Marine & Tunnels programme. Based primarily at supplier facilities in the UK, you’ll ensure safe delivery of quality work to programme deadlines and act as the key engineering interface across the alliance.

You’ll bring a degree or equivalent in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Welding Engineering, with proven experience in heavy fabrication,

Formación

• Degree or HNC/HND in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Welding Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience managing complex fabrication or heavy engineering projects.
• Knowledge of fabrication quality systems and inspection requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee day-to-day fabrication activities for major structural steel and mechanical packages.
• Ensure works are delivered safely, to required quality and programme.
• Act as interface between the fabricator, independent assurance bodies and project team.
