The Senior Fabrication Engineer will be responsible for the day‑to‑day management and oversight of the fabrication activities associated with major structural steel and mechanical fabrication packages within the Sizewell C Marine & Tunnels programme.
Working as part of the Marine & Tunnels Fabrication Delivery Team, the role will be predominantly based at supplier manufacturing facilities (primarily within the UK) to provide continuous oversight of fabrication activities, ensuring works are delivered safely, to the required quality standards, in accordance with programme and contractual requirements.
Reporting to the Package Manager, the Senior Fabrication Engineer will act as the primary engineering and delivery interface between the Civil Works Alliance (CWA), the fabricator, independent assurance bodies and the wider project team. The role provides technical leadership during manufacture while driving progress, managing quality compliance and ensuring timely resolution of engineering and production issues.
This is a permanent position within the Sizewell C Civil Works Alliance.
