Qualifications

• Registration with NMC or HCPC.
• Degree level qualification.
• Non-medical prescribing or level 7 relevant qualification.
• Level 7 History Taking & Physical Examination.
• Level 7 Diagnostics and Decision making.
• Good command of English (written and spoken).
• IT/data entry and reporting competence.

Responsibilities

• Provide initial history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and evaluation of care.
• Prescribe for acute medical conditions and complete referrals to the wider multidisciplinary team.
• Contribute to multidisciplinary pathways to support patient choice, quality of life and self-management.
• Provide strong leadership to the team and foster a well-led culture.
