Job summary

Employment Solutions Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Export Control and Compliance Officer to provide practical, business-focused advice across a complex engineering environment.

You will advise senior stakeholders, manage licensing, sanctions and international trade issues, and collaborate with technical and commercial teams; defence sector experience and SC clearance eligibility are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Export Control or International trade compliance.
• Experience within highly regulated Manufacturing or Engineering sector (Defence/Aerospace).
• SC Clearance OR Eligibility to pass SC Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the export control compliance programme and advise on licensing and sanctions.
• Classify technology against UK lists and assess transfer risks.
• Prepare and submit licences via LITE and maintain records.
• Oversee sanctions screening and UK/EU/US regulatory alignment.
• Develop policies, deliver training, and conduct audits and due diligence.
