Job summary

Tecna is seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead the Farnborough based production team, splitting time between management and hands-on fabrication. You will plan schedules, drive continuous improvement and ensure materials selection supports efficient builds for UK and European clients.

You'll oversee workflow, coordinate with Install Managers and Projects, and stay on trend with industry materials and methods.

Qualifications

Experience leading a production or fabrication team.
Ability to plan workloads and meet tight deadlines.
Materials-agnostic thinking across foam, GRP, acrylic, fabric structures or timber.
Hands-on production experience and strong IT scheduling skills.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop the production team day-to-day, allocating work, setting priorities, running 1-to-1s and performance reviews.
Own production scheduling and workflow planning with Head of Operations and Projects team to ensure on-time delivery.
Get hands-on in production, contributing to fabrication, finishing and assembly.
Challenge conventional materials and construction methods and propose alternatives.
Identify and trial new substrates, finishes and production methods to keep Tecna modern and competitive.
Manage stock, materials and supplier relationships, maintaining availability and controlling costs.
Drive continuous improvement across processes and factory layout to increase efficiency.
Maintain a safe, organised production environment with high housekeeping standards.
