Job summary

Tecna designs and delivers exhibition stands and event environments from its Farnborough headquarters. The role blends management with hands-on production, leading a skilled team and contributing to builds alongside them.

You will own planning, scheduling, and continuous improvement, ensuring materials selection and workflows maximise quality and efficiency. A strong materials and methods mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a production or fabrication team in exhibition/events.
• Ability to plan workloads, manage people and meet tight deadlines.
• Materials-agnostic thinking across multiple substrates.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the production team day-to-day, allocating work, setting priorities, and conducting reviews.
• Own production scheduling and workflow planning with senior operations and projects teams.
• Hands-on fabrication involvement alongside the team for delivery.
• Propose alternative materials and methods to optimize cost and results.
• Identify new substrates, finishes and production techniques for efficiency.
• Manage stock, materials, and supplier relationships to control costs.
• Drive continuous improvement across processes and factory layout.
• Maintain a safe, organized production environment with high housekeeping standards.
