Senior Executive Search Consultant

Location: Burgess Hill, RH15 8RG

Salary: Competitive Base Salary + Commission

Our client is an international executive search and resourcing solutions company with an extensive network of senior individuals. They map markets, provide client introductions, and review senior talent for organisations undergoing transformational change. The Role

To ensure success as a Senior Executive Search Consultant, you should exhibit relationship building, interpersonal and client-management skills. You will also possess the ability to multitask and have high levels of attention to detail and flexibility.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Management:

  1. Collaborate with clients to understand their organisational needs, corporate culture and leadership requirements.
  2. Develop strong relationships with clients, becoming a trusted advisor and maintaining regular communication throughout the search process.

Search Strategy Development:
  1. Design and implement effective search strategies to identify potential candidates, utilising a range of research methodologies and tools.
  2. Create comprehensive position specifications and candidate profiles, highlighting the desired qualifications and competencies.

Team Management:
  1. Develop and grow executive search team internationally.
  2. Manage and lead a team of Executive Search Consultants and Recoursers.
  3. Assist on training and development on executive searches.

Candidate Identification and Assessment:
  1. Conduct extensive research to identify and attract potential candidates, including executive networks, industry events, online platforms and referrals.
  2. Evaluate candidates through in-depth interviews, competency assessments and reference checks to assess their suitability for specific roles.

Process Management:
  1. Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process, including interview coordination, feedback collection, offer negotiation and onboarding assistance.
  2. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all candidate interactions, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and regulations.
  3. Monitor and report on search progress, providing regular updates to clients and stakeholders.

Skills and Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree or certifications in HR or related disciplines preferred.
  2. Proven experience (5+ years) as a recruiter/ talent acquisition/ executive searcher in recruitment, RPO or executive search.
  3. Delivery management of senior candidates and clients.
  4. Experience working on senior roles with a A£120k-A£300k base salary.
  5. Experience building and managing a team.
  6. Deep understanding of executive-level recruitment practices, including search methodologies, sourcing techniques and candidate assessment.
  7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, candidates and colleagues.
  8. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple searches and deadlines concurrently.
