Job summary

Sonata Software seeks an experienced Exchange Hybrid Engineer to lead enterprise-scale Exchange Online and on-premises environments. You will design, deploy, and troubleshoot hybrid configurations, secure mail routing, and manage mail flows within Microsoft 365 ecosystems.

The role demands extensive PowerShell skills, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and strong English communication. A security clearance and customer-facing experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

• 15-20 years of overall IT experience
• Solid Exchange Online and Exchange On-Premises experience
• Proven experience with Exchange Hybrid environments
• Active SC Security Clearance
• Excellent English communication skills
• Strong customer-facing, technical writing, presentation and training skills
• Experience in enterprise/customer environments

Responsibilities

• Administer and support Exchange Server 2016/2019 and Exchange Online
• Design, implement and maintain Exchange Hybrid environments
• Configure and troubleshoot HCW and hybrid mail flow
• Manage DAGs, mailbox databases, transport services, connectors and certificates
• Troubleshoot mail flow, Autodiscover, Outlook connectivity and authentication issues
• Manage Exchange Online mailboxes, distribution groups, and Microsoft 365 Groups
• Configure mail flow rules, retention, archiving and compliance policies
• Support Exchange Online Protection and Defender for Office 365
• Assist Exchange migrations between On-Premises and Online
• Manage SPF, DKIM and DMARC configurations
• Use PowerShell for administration and automation
