Job summary

MASS in St Neots (PE19) is seeking a Senior Simulation Engineer to work on high-fidelity synthetic trials in an on-site role. You will develop and run software models and spectrum-wide scene generation across visible and RF domains, integrating real-time systems and live hardware where needed.

You will contribute to automated test pipelines using MATLAB, Python, LabVIEW and virtual/constructive environments, while ensuring timings and behavior align with ICDs and APIs for accurate simulations.

Qualifications

• Experience writing test automation scripts for real-time systems (MATLAB, Python, LabView etc.).
• Experience working within a Virtual or Constructive environments (e.g. integrating software models, scripting behaviours, and synchronising outputs).
• Experience integrating software or hardware models (deployed to bespoke real-time operating systems), using ICDs/APIs to ensure behaviour and timings are correct.

Responsibilities

• Develop and run high-fidelity synthetic trials delivering to government and industry partners.
• Create and use spectrum-wide scene generation and behavioural models for repeatable simulations.
• Ensure automation and synchronization of simulations to support testing outside real-world environments.
