Responsibilities

Position Purpose: The Senior Marketing Manager, EMEA is responsible for strategic marketing communications planning across EMEA -including managing the event and tradeshow team for EMEA – to support business development and front-office staff. Direct line manager of 2 members of staff.

Primary duties will include:

  • Manage marketing strategy, planning and delivery for all non-retail business units across EMEA
  • Internal relationships with key stakeholders and business heads within the company
  • Work with central marketing team to brief in projects for business units and request support from various marketing functions
  • Line management of 2 members of staff: developing team members’ scope of work and direction, supporting team members.
  • Manage events team members and ensure adherence to company-wide event policies and processes.
  • Management of EMEA Events strategy and processes for third-party and hosted events, including liaison with US events team for global alignment.
  • Advertising campaigns
  • Lead generation campaigns
  • Work as a go-between for business: knowledge of each business unit within the organisation is key. The role requires ability to translate requests from front office staff into marketing strategy and direction of marketing services teams to deliver on requests.
  • Manage strategic planning for each business line across EMEA: focus on target audience, positioning, product, messaging, and distribution.
  • Manage marketing projects for EMEA, including booth design, advertising (print/digital), brochures, sell sheets, social campaigns, product launches and other marketing communications projects.
  • Work with a central marketing delivery team to ensure timely turnaround, manage feedback between marketing and stakeholder teams.
  • Manage EMEA PR strategy alongside agency.
  • Coordinate with external vendors on print collateral for quality and on-time delivery to various events and locations worldwide.
  • Build strategic relationships and partner with key industry players, agencies, and vendors.
  • Work with Legal & Compliance to ensure StoneX processes are followed.
  • Maintain corporate branding standards and marketing procedures for EMEA business lines
Qualifications

To land this role you will need:

  • Extensive experience in marketing and events
  • Knowledge of Financial Services sector vital
  • Experience managing a marketing team is a must
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills
  • Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multi-task, manage a variety of projects and work effectively with a variety of individuals,vendors, businesses, etc.
  • Proficiencywith MS Office products required
