This is a key senior role within the Hearst Events Team, responsible for delivering operational excellence through the end-to-end execution of a portfolio of physical events across multiple Hearst titles.

We produce over 40 events annually for our iconic media brands such as Cosmopolitan, Esquire, Elle, Harper’s Bazaar, and Country Living.

About the Role
  • Lead on delivering large-scale events in the Hearst Events portfolio
  • Provide accurate costings for all event grids within SLA turnaround time
  • Plan team resource, capacity management, and freelance procurement
  • Execute supplier tenders for costs over 30k, presenting to the contract review board
  • Provide regular updates to the MD on event status
  • Project management and client liaison for allocated events
  • Oversee the delivery of the event portfolio from conception to on-site delivery and post-event support
  • Support and guide Event Executives and freelance event managers
  • Manage and reconcile budgets across all events, with regular reporting to finance and Portfolio Directors
  • Support sponsorship campaigns by delivering contracted event elements in collaboration with marketing and sponsorship teams
  • Work with external support agencies including production, AV, PR, and celebrity management
  • Collaborate with other departments such as PR, CEO office, and Editorial on event execution
  • Issue detailed briefings to stakeholders and actively manage on-site at events
  • Work with Editorial to curate content and support talent management pre- and on-site
About You
  • Knowledge of media and events industry
  • Proven experience in similar roles or events
  • Experience managing budgets of 500k
  • Knowledge of production, staffing, and talent costs
  • Familiarity with UK venues, especially London venues
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
  • Teamwork skills within office and event environments
  • Flexible work approach and good time management
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, internet, and email systems
