Job summary

Convene Hospitality Group is seeking a Senior Event Production Manager (Planning) to lead the Events Team in delivering physical, hybrid and virtual events across the UK. You will own end-to-end production planning, client liaison, and on-site execution, ensuring every detail meets the highest standards.

You bring proven leadership, superb organisational and communication skills, and a track record in large-scale corporate events.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in event planning and production across physical, hybrid, and virtual formats.
• Proven leadership and team management experience.
• Strong organisational and project management skills.
• Excellent client relationship management and communication skills.
• Knowledge of AV production, catering logistics, and event operations.
• Proficiency in event management software and project management tools.
• 2 years experience in large-scale corporate event planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Events Team, scheduling and resource allocation.
• Oversee planning and execution of events across physical, hybrid, and virtual formats.
• Serve as the main client liaison during planning, aligning on requirements.
• Manage budgets, proposals, room diagrams, and pre-sales materials.
• Supervise on-site operations and address issues in real time.
• Conduct weekly event meetings and ensure stakeholder alignment.
