The role involves delivering over 400 events annually, balancing both physical and virtual formats while fostering essential partnerships across the industry. Are you an experienced events professional with a passion for delivering stand-out business events? Do you thrive in a fast-paced, high-impact environment? Simplybiz is looking for a Senior Event Executive, ideally based in or around the Midlands,to help deliver the biggest events programme in UK financial services—over 400 events a year!

As part of our central events team, you’ll play a key role in:

• End-to-end management of your own events—both physical and virtual
• Hosting events across the UK and supporting our hybrid event programme
• Building relationships with key partners, venues, and financial advisers
• Supporting the Head of Events and the wider Distribution Team
• Using digital platforms to live stream events and engage virtual audiences

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in business event planning and delivery
• Ideally, some knowledge of the financial services industry
• Superb attention to detail, multitasking skills, and a process-driven mindset
• Confidence to host and manage live events (in person and online)
• Great communication skills and a proactive, professional approach
• Strong IT skills (Word, Excel, and event platforms)
• A full driving licence and willingness to travel extensively across the UK
• Flexibility for occasional out-of-hours support during events
