Job summary

EBRD's Independent Evaluation (IEvD) seeks a Principal, Evaluation Manager in London to lead thematic and transactions-focused evaluations, applying rigorous methods and team collaboration.

You will mentor analysts, manage work programmes, and present findings to senior leadership; experience with GPS data, AI, and advanced analytics is valued; hybrid working with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in evaluation and both quantitative and qualitative analysis.
• Strong ability to present analysis clearly in English.
• Experience with external affairs, knowledge management or learning in development is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead preparation of corporate and thematic evaluations using independent research.
• Serve as lead evaluator for operation evaluations, synthesis papers, and case studies.
• Provide guidance to Analysts and Officers on projects and tasks.
• Design background papers for large thematic evaluations.
• Ensure high-quality products tailored to diverse audiences.
