Job summary

Resources Group is seeking an evaluator to progress a career in delivering diverse evaluation projects across the public services and third sector. You will own the design and delivery of assignments spanning mental health, arts & culture, public health and housing, applying participatory methods and a range of evaluation frameworks.

The role requires strong quantitative and qualitative skills, commercial awareness, and the ability to pitch proposals and manage multiple projects concurrently

Qualifications

  • Experience in designing and delivering evaluation projects across public services and third sector sectors such as mental health, arts & culture, public health and housing.
  • Proficiency in applying participatory evaluation methods and understanding of frameworks including Realist, Developmental, Empowerment and Participatory.
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative research skills, able to integrate multiple evidence sources.
  • Commercial awareness and experience in pitching, proposal writing and client relationship management.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.

Responsibilities

  • Use both quantitative and qualitative research methods and integrate multiple sources of evidence to generate actionable insights.
  • Pitch proposals, write compelling proposals and nurture client relationships as part of a commercially aware and client‑focused service.
  • Act as a proficient project manager, managing multiple evaluations simultaneously.
