Job summary

Guidepoint London is seeking a senior analyst for the Insights product, servicing institutional investment and corporate clients. The role involves monitoring European corporate credit, performing bottoms-up research, and moderating expert teleconferences to deliver actionable insights to buy-side clients.

The position can be in-person in London or fully remote, with opportunities for professional development and collaboration within Guidepoint’s global network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree
• 7 years or more of sell-side or buy-side analyst experience
• Follow a bottoms-up, fundamental approach to investment research
• Experience covering single name corporate credit across bank loan and high yield markets with European focus
• Ability to work in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
• Outgoing personality with the ability to speak with people at all professional levels
• Intellectual curiosity and desire to learn
• Effective time management and organizational skills
• Demonstrated ability to work both individually and as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Monitor European single-name corporate credit in markets including new issues and distressed cases.
• Conduct bottoms-up company research by reviewing earnings, investor presentations and filings.
• Moderate teleconferences featuring experts to produce actionable insights.
• Identify ideas and track investor views across European credit sectors.
• Role can be in-person or fully remote.
