Payward is seeking a senior regulatory product lawyer to join its European leadership in regulatory strategy and product licensing. You will provide cross-functional counsel across MiFID II/MiCA, EMIR, PSD2/EMD2 and banking rules, shaping how new products launch in the EU.

You will monitor EU development, draft terms, manage outside counsel costs, mentor junior lawyers, and leverage AI tools to accelerate analysis and drafting for a fast-moving, remote team.

Formación

• 15+ years PQE in financial services regulatory law.
• Deep knowledge of MiFID II/MiFIR, MiCA, PSD2/EMD2, banking rules.
• Ability to distill complex rules into actionable guidance.

Responsabilidades

• Own cross-functional EU launches with practical, risk-balanced advice.
• Advise on regulatory perimeter across MiFID II/MiCA/EMIR and banking rules.
• Monitor EU developments and translate implications for the business.
• Draft and negotiate client-facing terms; supervise outside counsel.
• Mentor junior lawyers and set standards for plain-English advice.
• Utilize AI tools to speed regulatory analysis and document drafting.
• Advise on AML/Travel Rule, DORA, and regulatory compliance programs.
• Lead licensing/authorization workstreams and regulator interactions.
