Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day running of the estimating office and workloads.
• Prepare accurate, competitive quotations from drawings and specs.
• Collaborate with customers, suppliers, procurement and senior management.
• Assess material and production costs to ensure profitability.
• Identify risks that affect costs, lead times and margins.
• Work with Commercial Manager to agree appropriate profit margins.
• Follow up quotations and maintain records of estimates and communications.
