Job summary

Our client in Bristol seeks an Estimator to lead costings for roofing and cladding contracts. You will manage tender processes, liaise with pre-construction and operations, and coordinate subcontractor quotes for competitive bids.

Experience pricing £5m+ packages across residential and commercial sectors is essential. Commutable to Bristol without relocation, with 4 days in office and optional Friday homeworking.

Qualifications

• Solid estimating experience with roofing & cladding contractors or main contractors.
• Demonstrable experience estimating on a range of projects and sectors/technologies.
• Track record of winning tenders with profitable outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide best net cost estimates with market pricing in a timely manner.
• Meet tender return deadlines and coordinate with pre-construction.
• Prepare bills of quantities and manage tender enquiries with sub-contractors.
• Understand site conditions, engage with subcontractors, and chase tenders for submissions.
• Prepare prelims book with operations and present the bid at adjudication.
