Job summary

PPM Recruitment is working with a leading roofing and cladding specialist subcontractor seeking an Estimator to join their growing team in Gloucester. In this role you will review drawings, prepare cost estimates for roofing and cladding projects, obtain quotations, and liaise with clients and suppliers.

There is clear progression potential to Senior Estimator based on performance and the pipeline of work. You will contribute to value engineering, manage costs, and support the commercial team

Qualifications

• Previous estimating experience within roofing, cladding or construction.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Good understanding of construction costs, materials and methods.
• Strong numerical, analytical and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office.
• A construction-related qualification would be advantageous but is not essential for candidates with relevant experience.
