Job summary

Referment, a market-leading engineering and infrastructure contractor, is seeking a Senior Estimator to join its Pre-Construction team in London. You will lead bids from enquiry to contract award, influence bid strategy with senior leaders and coordinate multidisciplinary estimating teams.

You'll build strong client and supply-chain relationships, manage tender budgets and programmes, and mentor junior estimators to deliver high-quality submissions for major rail or civil projects.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading bids in infrastructure or civil projects.
• Strong commercial and contractual understanding.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication.
• Ability to manage multiple high-value tenders.
• Proactive leadership and mentoring skills.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex bids from enquiry through to contract award.
• Develop bid strategies with senior leadership.
• Chair bid meetings and lead estimating teams.
• Build relationships with clients, consultants and suppliers.
• Manage tender budgets, programmes and risk.
• Prepare commercial and technical submissions.
• Lead tender settlements and project handovers.
