Job summary

Mitchell Maguire Limited is seeking a Senior Estimator - Facades to lead cost estimation for cladding projects, including wall cladding, rain screen, and SFS. This remote role covers projects from £2m to £35m+, offering £40k-£60k plus bonus.

You will analyse drawings and specs, obtain subcontractor quotes, and liaise with clients and internal teams to provide competitive quotations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as an estimator within facades.
• Experience with rainscreen cladding or recladding preferred.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage detailed cost estimates and tenders for facade and cladding projects.
• Analyse drawings, specifications and project requirements to produce accurate quotations.
• Obtain and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations, negotiating costs where appropriate.
• Identify project risks, assess material and labour requirements, and ensure all costs are accounted for.
• Liaise with clients, contractors and internal estimating teams throughout the tender process, providing commercial and technical support.
• Projects typically range from £2m to £35m+ in value.

The role of Senior Estimator - Facades will involve:

• Estimator position dealing with various cladding systems such as:, wall cladding, rain screen cladding and SFS

• Prepare and manage detailed cost estimates and tenders for facade and cladding projects
• Analyse drawings, specifications and project requirements to produce accurate and competitive quotations
• Obtain and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations, negotiating costs where appropriate
• Identify project risks, assess material and labour requirements, and ensure all costs are accounted for
• Liaise with clients, contractors and internal estimating teams throughout the tender process, providing commercial and technical support
• Working on projects that could range in value between £2m - £35m+

The ideal applicant will be Senior Estimator - Facades with:

• Must have experience as an Estimator within facades
• Ideally have experience within rainscreen cladding and/or recladding experience
• Ability to work well autonomously
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• High levels of attention to detail and organisation
• Familiar with working in a fast paced environment dealing with multiple projects at any one time
