Leading Main Contractor in Coventry is seeking a Senior Estimator to deliver accurate project estimates for data centre and steel frame projects. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to capture scope, quantify materials and labour, and produce competitive bids.

The role requires proven estimator experience in commercial/industrial building projects, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work to tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior Estimator in construction, commercial & industrial projects.
• Strong knowledge of estimating software and tools.
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project teams to understand requirements and specs.
• Prepare detailed estimates for materials, labour and costs.
• Conduct cost analysis and risk assessment.
• Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes.
• Provide cost-saving recommendations.
• Keep up-to-date with industry pricing trends.
• Support bid and project management teams and proposals.
